How does WigOut generate hairstyle previews?
WigOut uses advanced AI image generation technology. When you select a hairstyle and take a selfie, the app sends your photo to our secure servers where AI blends the selected hairstyle with your face, preserving your facial features while realistically applying the new hairstyle.
How long does it take to generate a hairstyle?
Most hairstyle generations take between 15 to 30 seconds depending on server load. You'll see a loading indicator while the image is being generated.
Why doesn't the generated image look right?
For best results, take your selfie in good lighting with your face clearly visible and centered in the frame. Avoid hats, sunglasses, or anything covering your face. A plain background also helps the AI produce better results.
Is my photo stored or shared?
Your privacy is important to us. Photos are processed securely and are not shared with third parties. Generated images are stored temporarily for delivery to your device. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.
What devices are supported?
WigOut is available for iPhone running iOS 16.0 or later. We recommend using an iPhone 11 or newer for the best camera quality and performance.
